Where is your farm located?
Our farm is located in the beautiful orchard community of Santaquin, Utah. Visit us!
How big is your farm?
We currently farm on approximately 25 acres of land, where we grow all of our fruit crops.
Where is your produce and other products available at?
You can shop our fresh produce and handmade products in our online store or at one of our 10 retail locations—9 across Utah and 1 in Las Vegas. We also partner with Little Opee’s Produce Company to deliver our Honeycrisp apples to select grocery stores, including Lee’s Marketplace, Kent’s, Macy’s in Santaquin, and Reams.

Is your produce or products available at grocery stores?
Yes! We partner with Little Opee's Produce Company to deliver our 🍎 Honeycrisp apples to select grocery stores across Utah. You can find them at Lee’s Marketplace, Kent’s, Macy’s in Santaquin, and Reams. Just look for the Openshaw Acres logo on the apple boxes—that’s how you know they’re ours!
Is your fruit organic?
We’re a conventional farm, but we do follow some organic practices to grow high-quality, safe, and delicious fruit.
What produce do you grow?
We primarily grow fresh fruit, including:
Sweet cherries, apricots, peaches, nectarines, plums, pluots, pears, and multiple apple varieties.

We also partner with local vegetable growers across Utah to offer a selection of seasonal vegetables at our farmers market booths and farm stands throughout the season.
When do your crops start producing?
Our harvest season typically begins in late June with sweet cherries.
- Mid-July: Apricots
- Late July-Early August: Peaches, nectarines, plums, and pluots
- Mid-August: Summer apple varieties
- Late August-October: Fall apples and pears

What employment opportunities do you offer?
We typically post seasonal job openings in May on our website and announce them through social media. Most positions are for helping at the various farmers markets we attend throughout the summer. We also hire staff to assist with our popular Honeycrisp apple U-Pick events, usually held in late September through early October.

Payment Options FAQs
What forms of payment do you accept at retail locations?
We accept cash, credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, and EBT at all of our retail locations and farm stands.
Can I use my EBT card for online purchases?
At this time, we do not accept EBT through our online store. However, if you'd like to place an order online and pay with EBT, please contact us. We’re happy to arrange for you to pay in person at pickup using your EBT card.

Agritourism Questions
Do you allow school classes or groups to tour your farm?
Yes! We welcome school classes, homeschool groups, and educational programs to tour our farm. If you're interested, please fill out this form, and we'll contact you within 2 business days to schedule a date and time.

Agritourism
U-Pick
As a farming operation we pick and sell most of our fruit crops. When we have pick all the crop we need for our sells we do open days for people to come and pick their own fruit from our farm. We unlink others only charge a flat fee per vehicle that comes to pick in our orchard. To receive alerts about when U-Pick will open up for the season click on the subscribe button bellow.

Educational Events
Here at our farm we also offer opportunities for student classes, groups, or other educational groups to come and learn more about where their fruits come from. If your interested click on the button bellow to get in contact with us.
Do you offer a pick-your-own experience?
Yes! We offer a U-Pick experience for our Honeycrisp apples each year, usually in late September through early October.
Other fruit crops are picked by our team for sale at farmers markets, so they’re not available for U-Pick at this time.

Can people come take photos on your farm when the trees are in bloom?
Absolutely—spring blossom season is a beautiful time on the farm! If you're interested in a bloom photo session, please contact us in advance to arrange access and details.
